About
Crystal (Hartman) Frank is a multidisciplinary artist and jeweler. Her work has been exhibited and published in the United States and internationally since 2005 when she received her BFA for Printmaking from The University of Colorado at Boulder. Leaving the traditional academic path, Hartman began her career filming amateur and professional skateboarding in Spain, teaching and studying craft in Thailand, founding and directing Durango Open Studios in Colorado and carving wax. She uses art and craft to advocate for the natural world.
